Why did we start Stoned?

Stoned was born out of Wisconsin and built from my own story. I’m a two-time felon in this state—for cannabis.

At 19, I was a full-time student, working full-time, and selling a little cannabis on the side just to get by. During finals week, my dorm was raided over 3.5 grams. That small amount was enough to get me expelled from college and branded with a felony. Later, while still on papers, I was caught again with cannabis for personal use and sentenced to a year in jail—along with another felony.

All of this for a plant.

These experiences opened my eyes to just how broken our cannabis laws really are. Too many people’s lives are derailed for something that should never have been criminal in the first place.

That’s why I created Stoned—to do it the right way, the legal way. This brand is more than clothing; it’s a statement. It’s for stoners everywhere—whether you’re in a legal state or still living under failed laws. It’s for anyone who’s tired of hiding in the shadows.

We’re here to stand proud, loud, and unapologetic. Because being a stoner isn’t something to be ashamed of—it’s something to celebrate.
